Peter Young, Project Engineering Manager
Peter D. Young, P.Eng is a veteran robotics innovator with more than 40 years of experience advancing automation across multiple industries. As founder of Opus Automation Inc., he led the company for over 25 years and delivered more than 200 robotic installations for automotive, manufacturing, and secondary packaging applications. Before Opus, he co-founded CRS Robotics Inc., where his work in mechanical design, integration, and customer support helped establish the company as an early leader in small-scale and laboratory robotics, later acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Peter began his robotics career at McMaster University, contributing to the launch of Canada’s first university robotics research lab and pioneering early modernization efforts in robot control systems. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from McMaster and decades of hands-on engineering leadership, he brings deep technical insight and practical problem-solving expertise to every automation challenge.
Zoey Barendregt, Junior Sales Representative
Zoey Barendregt is a motivated Junior Sales Representative who brings her passion for cars and Formula One into every aspect of her work. Brendan Stempski, Robotic Systems Technician
Brendan Stempski is a highly skilled Robotic Systems Technician with expertise in programming and assembly. He plays a key role in every stage of robotic system development, from mechanical design and integration to programming and deployment. Certified in JAKA programming, he has contributed to a wide range of automation projects, building efficient and reliable systems tailored to production needs. His ability to design custom end-of-arm tooling, develop specialized automation components, and write optimized robot code ensures seamless functionality and innovation in every project.
With a hands-on approach and a focus on precision, Brendan bridges the gap between design, programming, and real-world application. His commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving drives the success of automation initiatives, refining and enhancing robotic solutions. Luca Dibussolo, Robotic Systems Technician
Luca Dibussolo is an automation specialist with a strong foundation in robotics, programming, and intelligent systems. He holds a B.Tech in Automation Engineering Technology with a Smart Systems specialization from McMaster University, along with an Advanced Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology and a Business Management Certificate from Mohawk College. He is also certified in Fanuc Handling Tool Operations and Programming.

Luca’s experience includes programming Fanuc, Doosan, and JAKA robots, PLC programming with Allen-Bradley and Phoenix Contact, and working with Cognex vision systems. Skilled in Python, C#, C++, and HTML, he has contributed to projects such as an automated cell passaging system for biology labs and interactive applications developed in Unity.
Francis Estayo, Robotic Systems Technician
Francis is an Automation Engineer with expertise in robotic systems, CNC machining, and industrial integration. Holding a B.Tech in Automation Engineering, he has worked with leading robotic platforms such as Fanuc and JAKA, developing efficient automation solutions for diverse applications. His experience as a CMMS integrator further strengthens his ability to optimize maintenance and operational workflows.

With a strong technical background and hands-on approach, Francis excels at bridging the gap between automation and manufacturing. His CNC machining expertise and robotics knowledge allow him to develop precise, reliable systems that enhance productivity and performance in industrial settings.
